Reception / Receiving
Seeking veterinary technician students or
experienced veterinary receptionists. No
certification or emergency experience required. Duties include
answering phones, greeting clients, registration, triaging patients
as they enter the facility, assigning rooms,
faxing and filing medical records, etc. Applicants
should be team-oriented and enthusiastic with multi-tasking capabilities

Certified Veterinary Technicians: Full or Part-Time
If you ‘re tired of the same old thing and might enjoy the challenges
of critical care, this job is for you.
As a technician at our animal emergency facility, you will be given
the opportunity to enhance existing skills as well as acquire
new ones. Duties include receiving patients for
laboratory, radiology, and other testing needs, admitting patients
into the hospital and beginning treatment and nursing protocols, placing
IV catheters, administering ordered treatments, monitoring anesthesia,
assisting in surgery, and giving lots of TLC. Work with a great
team and state-of-the-art equipment including an on-site laboratory,
radiology, tonometry, ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, ICU (oxygen,
heat, and cold
delivery) as well as South Metro's on-site animal blood bank.
We believe flexible scheduling is the key to happiness! Full-time
techs work 3-4 shifts per week, and part-time techs can work as little
as two shifts per month.
The applicant should be able to exhibit multi-tasking capabilities, be
team oriented, enthusiastic personality and a genuine concern for the
client and their pet. The candidate will be self-motivated, able
to work one-on-one with the veterinarian and be willing to learn, learn,
and learn some more. Additional consideration will be given to
technicians in lateral fields as well as new grads.
