Dr. Greg Anderson earned
both his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Anderson is an American
College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) board certified diplomate and a member
of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). To date, he has written
ten scholarly articles, conducted six instructional activities, and given
thirteen professional presentations. |
This innovative clinic gives both veterinarians who refer patients to
the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) and area residents convenient access
to veterinary specialty care.
Services offered include surgical evaluations and minor surgical procedures
such as joint taps, minor biopsies, and pin removals. Major surgeries
requiring prolonged anesthesia will continue to be performed at the VMC.
The satellite clinic service provides a board-certified small-animal
surgeon on site every Tuesday. Currently, surgeon Greg
Anderson,
of the VMC, provides soft-tissue and orthopedic consultation services
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Tuesday. He is also
available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Tuesday for consultations
with veterinarians.
People interested in setting up appointments with the University of
Minnesota veterinary specialty satellite clinic are asked to call their
primary veterinarian to request a referral. For questions, call
